Sad Girls Club

We are both an online platform and in real life community created to bring together girls who are battling mental illnesses.

There are three goals that stand at the forefront of our work—

  1. Remove the negative stigma integrated in mental health conversations.

  2. Provide mental health services to girls who do not have access to therapy and treatment.

  3. Create in real life safe spaces that build a community for young women to know— they are not alone.

Sad Girls Club was founded in February, 2017 by Elyse Fox. After releasing a documentary film about her life with depression, Elyse immediately experienced a wave of young women from all over the world who were seeking a mentor through their own mental health struggles.
