ABOUT SAD GIRLS CLUB

Sad Girls Club was founded in February 2017, by Elyse Fox after releasing a documentary film about her life with depression.

Elyse immediately experienced a wave of young women from all over the world who were seeking mentorship, tips and resources to guide them through their own mental health struggles. Sad Girls Club is both an online platform and in real life community committed to bring girls together who are battling mental illnesses.

There are three goals that stand at the forefront of our work:

To remove the negative stigma integrated in mental health conversations

Provide mental health services to girls who do not have access to therapy and treatment

Create in-person safe spaces that both nurture and builds community for young women to know they are not alone

Today Sad Girls Club has members in 5 continents and over 40 countries. Elyse continues to spread awareness through partnering with likeminded brands, consulting, journalism, speaking engagements and more.
